PLATE 06 · COMPLETE FOLIO

Cosmetic Tattoo Eyebrow Course

One course, the whole brow. Plate 06 brings hair-stroke and shaded styles together on a single drawing sheet, so you learn to map a face, read skin and hair, and choose the technique each brow calls for.

PLATE 06 · 1

A broad foundation in brow tattoo

Most brow courses teach a single technique. This course sets out the full picture of cosmetic tattoo for eyebrows: how fine hair strokes imitate natural growth, how soft shading builds tone, and how the two can work on one brow. Every style starts from the same place: a carefully mapped, balanced brow drawn for the face in front of you.

For more about where this training can lead, read Becoming a Cosmetic Tattoo Artist.

Who this course suits

New to brows — you want one course that shows you every main style before you specialise
Beauty professionals — you already work with brows and want to add cosmetic tattoo
Career changers — you are drawn to precise, artistic work and want a structured start

PLATE 06 · 2 · SKILLS & TECHNIQUES

Three ways to draw a brow

Brow mapping and skin assessment underpin all three. Once the map is drawn, you learn how each technique places pigment and when to choose it.

HAIR-STROKE

Strokes that follow growth

Stroke direction, spacing and length, drawn to sit with natural hairs. This is the language of feathering, microblading and nano brows.

SHADED

Tone built in layers

Soft shading that moves from a light front to a defined tail without hard edges, as used in powder and ombre brows.

COMBINED

Two layers, one map

Planning strokes at the front and shading through the body so the finished brow reads as one design. The technique is explored further in combination brows.

Course structure & training format

The course moves in the same order a brow is drawn: understand the face, measure it, choose the technique, place pigment, then review. Theory and hands-on practice are taught side by side, so each skill is applied as soon as it is explained.

Current dates, duration, format and what is included in your enrolment are confirmed when you enquire, or ask a question through our contact page.

Taught by trainers, shown in student work

A broad course asks a lot of its teaching. Our trainers explain the reasoning behind every measurement and stroke, so you can make decisions rather than copy a template. Read about their teaching approach and philosophy on Our Trainers.

Genuine brows completed by students are collected in the Student Work Gallery. It is the best place to see how mapping and technique come together on real faces.

Questions on this plate

More answers are in the Brow Course FAQ.

How is this different from a single-technique course?

Single-technique courses go deep into one style. This course gives you broad coverage of hair-stroke and shaded brows, so you understand the options before you choose a specialisation.

Do I need brow experience first?

The course starts with assessment and mapping, which suits people who are new to brows. Tell us about your background when you enquire and we can talk through whether this plate is the right starting point.

Where can I go after this course?

Many artists go on to refine one technique. Advanced Brow Training is designed for practising brow artists, and our career guide covers how to keep building your skills.
