REFERENCE PHOTOGRAPH · BROW AND LASH TOOLS
SCOPE A · SORTED BY TECHNIQUE
When students give permission, their genuine work will be filed under the plate for the course it came from, so hair-stroke, shaded and advanced brows can be compared side by side.
SCOPE B · SHOWN WITH PERMISSION
Student work will be added only with the permission of the student and the model. Each piece will carry its own label and will be kept separate from reference photographs.
SCOPE C · LINKED TO EACH COURSE
Each plate in the gallery will link to its course page, so you can go from a published brow to the skills and techniques behind it.
PLATE INDEX · BROWSE BY TECHNIQUE
Choose the technique you want to learn. Each folio groups the courses that share a drawing method, so genuine student work filed under one heading can be judged by the same standards once it is published.

FRAME KEY
Once a student gives permission, each piece of their work will sit in its own brass frame with a short legend beneath it. The legend presents the brow as a drawing, not an advert: where it belongs in the folio and which technique was used.
PUBLISHING NOTE
Student brows are published here only with consent from both the artist and the model.
A brow is someone’s face, and a training piece is someone’s learning. We treat both with care, and student work is never mixed with reference photography. If you are a student and want your work considered for the gallery, or want work removed after it is published, contact us through the contact form. To find out how our trainers review work in class, read about our trainers.
REFERENCE NOTES
Look through any brow portfolio with these four checks in mind. The guides beside each one explain what good work looks like.
